Biography:
Ladislav Prudek was born on November 23, 1922 in Czechoslovakia. He worked as a sports editor
for Mlada Fronta, Prague, Czechoslovakia, and served as a secretary
of A. C. Sparta Track and Field Team. He left Czechoslovakia for Canada in 1948. He co-founded
and edited a Czechoslovak weekly Our Voices. Prudek died September
29, 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
