Biography:
Larry Moeller received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine Studies from the
University of Nebraska in 1970 and his M.D. from the University of Nebraska College
of Medicine in 1977. He played trombone in the Cornhusker Marching Band from
1967-1970, was a member of Director Jack Snider's "Jack's Boys," and marched in the
Sun Bowl in 1969. He worked as a Staff Physician at Kansas State University from
1983 until his retirement in 2012.
Scope and Content:
The Larry Moeller, Marching Band Records contain photographs, programs, and trip
souvenirs from the 1969 Nebraska vs. Georgia Sun Bowl. Included are 1980-1998 Alumni
Day photographs, a late 1960s marching band cap, a windbreaker coat, and a "Jack's
Boys" t-shirt. Audiovisual materials include various Cornhusker Marching Band vinyl
long-playing (LP) record albums from 1965-1985.
